on time. If you are late, you may be
eliminated.
DRESSAGE:
Times as per draw. Please
note that there is no Gear Steward for the Dressage phase. Bridle numbers must
be worn. Riders do not need to introduce themselves to the judge. As soon as
the previous rider has finished, please ride around the outside of the arena a
couple of times then circle near the entrance to the arena. The judge will toot
the car horn to give you the signal to enter.
SHOWJUMPING:
Times as per draw. JUMPING
WILL BE STRICTLY BY DRAWN ORDER. Be prepared to move up if there is a
scratching or a non-arrival before you. There will be announcements made if a Showjumping
Arena is running significantly earlier or later than published times. Riders
with multiple horses who find a conflict between a
Dressage time and a Showjumping time, must keep to the published
Dressage time and Showjump as soon as possible after their drawn Showjumping
time. Course walks will be held immediately before classes commence, and
additionally as shown on the draw.
Please
note that there will be no extra Show Jumping course walks. The courses will be
open 30 minutes the commencement of jumping.
Riders have the responsibility for ensuring that they walk the course
before the class begins. Please note that the later classes to Showjump may be
ahead of schedule … keep an eye on the SJ arenas and
be prepared to move up. Don't assume that it will be as late as the draw.
CROSS COUNTRY:
The
Cross Country will commence at 9:30 am Sunday commencing with No. 1 and
continuing in strict numerical order at 1 minute intervals for all classes.
There will be a 5 -15 minute break between classes, to allow repositioning of
jump stewards. It is the responsibility of riders with multiple horses to have
sufficient gear and assistance to be ready to start on schedule. Any rider, who
is called to the Start in correct order and is not ready, will be taken to have
started at the scheduled time. The start will often run ahead of schedule.
