The
Berrima
Horse Trials Winter One Day Event (CNC) from Newcomer to Prenovice,
was held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2010. A great weekend – opening with a white frosts and -5°
temperatures, and finishing with relatively warm blue skies – no serious
injuries to horses or riders – and great sport had by all. Click on the

Thanks for patronising Café Araluen – our gourmet canteen – we had a record
weekend. Thanks you for giving us the custom our great food deserves. Our canteen is a major fundraiser for our
club!
We reinvest all our proceeds into our venue –
see our new Jumping Arena, our new tank and new diesel generator, for
example – and our XC course – see
the new first fences, our new jump numbers and warm-up fences, as well as our
new portables. Not to mention our two new dressage arenas! Many thanks to
our many sponsors for their assistance. Special thanks go to our major
sponsors, Tertini Wines and The Briars Inn. And thanks to all those
satisfied patrons of Café Araluen!

The
Berrima
Horse Trials Spring One Day Event was held on Saturday
28th and Sunday 29th November 2009, from Newcomers to One Star. Over 400 horses
competed, surviving a warm and windy Saturday and a slightly cooler Sunday.
There were no significant horse or rider injuries, and great sport was had
by all. To see who did what – click on Results.
Our new first fences and warmup
fences were “christened” as well as our new jumping arena – you can really see
where your entry fees get spent at Berrima!

The Famous
Berrima Clinic was held on Sunday 16th August. A great time was had by all – well most – there
were a couple of (non-serious) falls! Congratulations to Caitlin
Rose McMullen on AA Gabriel – Caitlin won the XC competition right on the

During the day, we had a working bee to restore and paint
our XC flags – now coming up to their 18th birthday. A special
thank you to Geoff
Dark, parent of one of our participants, who
spent the whole day helping us. Also Andrea Webb. Thanks!! Our sport could not exist without our
volunteers.

The Berrima

weather (once the pipes had thawed after a -4 degree frost on Saturday
morning!) A huge thank you to all the officials, volunteers and committee

The
Briars
International One Day Event (Berrima CIC) was
held on April 18th and 19th – a great success despite
some bleak weather on XC day. The winner of the CIC 3* was Olympic Gold
Medalist Stuart Tinney riding his grey warmblood Vettori.
